Oppression and exploitation of woman, a truth “everyone knows about it”
We know that since ages woman has been oppressed by man. It is the hard reality that everyone knows and the best proof that woman has been oppressed is that “ everyone knows about it ” and if you ask anyone they will affirm the same. We know of various oppressions and exploitations that occurred in the past, may it be oppression of the black people as slaves, oppression of Jews by Nazis, oppression of Indians by British or oppression of Americans by British. There is one thing common in all of them; there had been uprising, revolution and movement against injustice. Strangely enough we don’t know of any movement or uprising for women rights, especially before British era.
